The starting point for the design concept was the work of the legendary Chengdu poet Du Fu. Inspired by his pastoral themes, The LOFT’s landscape design was symbolised by wind, rain, moon, Milky Way and cloud. The result is a pleasing, varied landscape with distinct public and private zones that emphasise a sense of poetry and wonder.
