In 2010, Aedas Landscape was invited to prepare a concept design for a new central park in Leshan, China, to create a new central business district. The whole redevelopment has facilities include a shopping mall, a retail strip, basement retail space, two Grade-A office towers, two fivestar hotels, serviced apartments, SOHO office buildings and a museum. The selected scheme preserved the original central plaza while adopting a people-oriented spatial layout. The boulevards connect the various spaces while the central lake and canals separate different spaces.
