The design intent is to exude a contemporary yet luxurious decor with the warmth sense of home. As such, warm light timber and stone are found in the chosen palatte. The incorporation of local characteristics into the expression of Yongkang as the ‘Hardware Capital of China’ is through the use and placement of metal art pieces in various key areas of the hotel. Other features such as butterfly patterns have also been worked into the fabric of design.
