Daventry Community Hospital

This new £23 million Private Finance Initiative (PFI) project provides a community hospital and NHS Trust headquarters in Daventry, Northamptonshire.
Designed by Aedas for Clugston Construction and the PFI sponsor UME Investment, the project was completed in 2007. Constructed in two principle phases, new build and refurbishment, this new facility sits on the site of the town’s existing hospital. Execution of Aedas’ designs involved careful demolition of some existing buildings, integration of listed buildings with new-build accommodation and a phased schedule to sustain a hospital function throughout the construction process.
