Aedas’ European presence extends across 16 offices in the UK and Western, Central and Eastern Europe, employing approximately 600 staff.
In the UK, the practice has offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Huddersfield, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Shrewsbury. Recent projects include Bauhaus, Manchester; Colmore Plaza, Birmingham; the iconic West Tower in Liverpool, Bridgewater Place, Leeds and the Haymarket Interchange in Edinburgh.
The practice is noted for its expertise and extensive experience in the Education sector demonstrated by establishments such as Holland Park School in West London, Sheffield Springs Academy in Sheffield and Stockley Academy in West London. The UK team also work on international projects in areas including the Middle East and the CIS region. Most notable is the competition winning design for the new Abu Dhabi Investment Council Headquarters, in Abu Dhabi.
Aedas’ Central and Eastern Europe operations include offices in Russia and the CIS, based around four key locations – Warsaw, Katowice, Moscow and Kiev. Aedas collaborates with partners throughout the region. Recently we have expanded our operations into Turin, through a partnership with Marco Visconti, chief designer of a number of Fiat and Ferrari buildings in Italy.
